Pura Goa Lawah, Bats Extraordinary Palace

Goa Lawah is located on the east Semarapura City. Lawah mean bat, Goa Lawah a cave inhabited by thousands of fruit bats. Here also stood a temple built in the 11th century temple which is a Sad Kahyangan (Kahyangan Jagat), where worship God with manifestation as the god Varuna, the ruler of the seas.

Pura Goa Lawah located in the village Pesinggahan, Dawan sub district, 10 km east of the city Semarapura Klungkung and about 50 km from Denpasar. Not hard to find these attractions because it is located on the path to Karangasem.

Lawah Goa is a natural cave located on a hill called Bukit Tengah corals. Goa Lawah this in some historical evidence mentioned having a relationship with Raja Goa in Besakih complex, the second temple was connected by the cave.
